Jakarta DWP Gives Social Aid Injection to Three Social Homes

The Jakarta Dharma Wanita Persatuan (organization of civil servant wives), held social aid services (Baksos) in a number of social homes under the Jakarta Social Agency.

It aims to help residents of social institutions, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic

Jakarta DWP's Culture and Social Division Head Irma Irmansyah said it was held at the Grahita Belaian Kasih Social Home in Kalideres, West Jakarta, Children's Social Home for Toddlers in Cipayung, East Jakarta and Tresna Werdha Cipayung Social Home, East Jakarta.

"It aims to help residents of social institutions, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic," she expressed, Thursday (11/19).

She continued the aid provided consisted of adult diapers, t-shirts, negligee, men's shorts, hygiene kits, toiletries, bread, UHT milk, children's food and packages of basic necessities. It was a routine social service activity every year.

"Hopefully it can be useful," she hoped.
